2023 – investment in renewable aviation fuel and HVO increases

Preem's most significant renewable investment is decided. SEK 5.5 billion is invested in the reconstruction of the refinery in Lysekil, and increases the annual production capacity of renewable aviation fuel and HVO by an additional 1.2 million cubic meters.

The plan is to open the plant in 2027.

2022 – decision taken to increase renewable production capacity

By converting the refinery in Lysekil, Preem's renewable production capacity will be increased to 1.5 million cubic meters. This is the largest renewable investment in the company's history.
